The Big Diamond Raceway is located in Forestville PA, about two miles west of Minersville PA. The speedway saw it's initial life in 1972. Big Diamond was a one-third mile clay oval from then until 1994. During the '94 season, Diamond was enlarged to a three-eighths mile clay oval layout, the configuration it still holds today.
Big Diamond Raceway will celebrate it's 33rd anniversary season of automobile racing in 2004. As has been the case since the track's birth, the 358 Modifieds remain the track's top billed division. The Sportsman and Roadrunners will once again join the 358 Modifieds on the weekly Friday night '04 season. Be sure to check the '04 schedule as several visiting classes will make special appearances during the course of the year.
